WHAT! Deepika Padukone Wanted To MARRY Sanjay Leela Bhansali? Left Salman Khan Shocked With Her Declaration- Watch Video
Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has left the audiences mesmerised with her acting chops, whenever she has collaborated with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. May it be the fearless Leela, the deeply in-love Mastani to the beautiful and caring Rani Padmavati. The filmmaker and actress  duo have created magic on the big-screen alongside her husband Ranveer Singh.

However, did you know that a year before getting hitched to Ranveer, Deepika had expressed her desire to marry Bhansali? It all happened on the sets of Bigg Boss 11 when during a game of ‘Date, Marry or Kill,’ Salman Khan had given the actress three names - Ranveer, Sanjay and Shahid Kapoor. Leaving everyone in deep shock she said she would marry the filmmaker, date her then boyfriend and kill Shahid, because he was married to Mira Rajput Kapoor.

It was Salman’s savage response to Deepika’s declaration that left everyone in splits. He immediately told her that their marriage wouldn’t work.

Take a look at the video here:

For the unversed, Deepika and Ranveer fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. The couple got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there.

On the work front, last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan, which also stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone will be seen in Project K alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.
